Joe, you are amazing! Since their arrival, Mark reported that several golf carts have actually pulled into the driveway and have driven around the circle to see the waltzing Matilda’s. And quite a few more golfers just stood at the gate peering in, trying to figure out just what was going on! But yesterday morning we got a call from the future bride and groom. They had gotten lousy news about a significant wedding segment that had just fallen through. A wedding is stressful, and having to go back to the drawing board after so much time and planning -especially so close to the date was really upsetting. They decided to fly in early to see what they could salvage. This was news to us, and when we heard that they were about to land, we raced home. Having heard the tears over the phone, I was expecting to find a really distressed couple, but instead, we found them laughing. When they pulled in, they got the surprise of their life. They LOVE the kangaroos!!! They spent ages talking about how they wanted to keep this a secret so everyone would have the same surprise they did and then how they would compose photographs of all the wedding party and Australians in front of the kangaroos. To say it was a hit was an understatement. Your magnificent creation brought back the smiles and the lightness at such an important moment, and I TRULY CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH!
